Voyager VOM-7SN monitor

Question

Anyone ever had one of these 7 inch tube type rear view monitors repaired? For a while I could fiddle with the contrast button and get it to work, but that no longer works.

RVCAMS.COM has a replacement kit for $429 but I hesitate to spend those dollars if this thing might be repaired.

If you can do the work yourself, you can replace with color camera, color 7" lcd monitor and long cable for less than $150.  Lots of posts here about do it yourself camera/monitor installation.Fred
