FYI: I am a new VZ customer (1 month) with the VZ 2 GB data plan and paying $50 per month. Today I received a text from them wanting to know if I would be interested in 4 GB for the same $50 cost. DUH...

I read this thread yesterday--- called Verizon this AM.... My data plan has been increased from 5gb to 8gb. ... Still $50/month. And no contract... This is not automatic---- you gotta call. A few years ago, I noticed Verizon offering 5gb for $50... My plan was costing $60. Called to see why new customers rated better than existing, was told they can't offer it but if you ask for it you can get the same deal. Go figure:-)
