FYI: I am a new VZ customer (1 month) with the VZ 2 GB data plan and paying $50 per month. Today I received a text from them wanting to know if I would be interested in 4 GB for the same $50 cost. DUH...

I just called VZ and was told that those that have 3 GB of data could get a free upgrade to 6, but since I have 4, it's a "no go" , but if I wanted to jump to 10 I could for another $10 a month... this whole data thing seems quite the scam. Yes, I want the data, but had to give up unlimited a few years ago because I didn't know how to jump through their hoops with new phones. It seems like many other carriers can offer data at a much cheaper rate, though without the coverage areas that I generally travel (i.e. da UP of MI)
