I had unlimited data at the time this ruling came down and I read it as not applying to those of us without data limits.
I will admit that I had no problems using PDANet when I had the unlimited plan, but I tried to stay under 6 GB during peak usage months.
Now, I wish I had held onto the unlimited plan but my wife and granddaughter wanted new phones and I wasn't willing to pay full price.
