Warning. Chrome Scrollbar Prob on Beta Vers 32.0.1700.76 m

Several days ago, I began having some problems with Chrome. Right now, I don't even remember what the problem was. Anyhow, I deleted it and reload Chrome. My other problem went away but I have a new one now, one that a number of other people are having. If I click on a drop down box and get a scroll bar, I am unable to pull the scroll bar down to see more select options. I can still select anything that shows without pulling the scroll bar, but if I need to pull the scroll bar to get to what I want to select, I can't get there.

I still have IE and have had to use it several times. I which I could drop back to an older Chrome, but that does not appear to be an option.

Consider this a warning. Also, if you know how to fix this, consider this a request for how to fix it.

  • This is fixed on my computer. I was never aware of any change but it is fixed now.

You can fix it today by applying this free Chrome Extension.

When you get to the above page, click the 'free' button and it'll install and apply the fix.

This free extension adds a simple CSS style fix to the missing up and down scroll arrows in the latest release of chrome.

I installed it and checked to be sure it got installed. It did. Nothing changed. Scroll bar still broken. I had also read where someone said that installing the extension 'Rescroller' would fix the problem. That one didn't fix the problem either.

And yes, I am on Windows 7.
  • The honeymoon with Chrome is over.
    It's become a bloated mishmash.
I often have to go to IE on certain sites, I'm slowly going back.
yeah, yeah I know, Firefox woohoo.
