If you turn it to ALT it should show a number very close to your RV's current elevation above sea level. If you turn it to BAR it should show a number between 28 and 31 (inches Hg). This link will give you information on what those BAR readings mean.
Barometer readings
I have seen these exact systems in some older RVs so I am pretty sure that what you have is the same as the units I have seen in the past. I believe it was the Bluebird RVs that had these installed in many of them so you might be able to search out additional information from a BB forum.
