website that provides elevation along a trip plan.

Hello a few years ago, I had a link to a website.. that when you entered 2 locations. it provided a route AND the elevation changes along that route. anyone remember it .. or the link. Thank ...

I would love to be able to see elevation along a route. I've tried your instructions on Google maps on the web. I have a Mac computer. In Firefox, even though I have Google Earth plugin, I put maps in Satellite view and it says "3d earth view is not available". In Chrome, Earth view replaces Satellite view, but when I right-click on a route, "Show elevation" is not one of the options on the little pop-up menu.

Any ideas??
