I love the Android... so much good quality software for it... and almost all of it is free. So glad I switched!
For Traveling/Camping, I use the built in navigation to supplement my dash-mounted Garmin GPS.
Weatherbug - for weather in the area
Raindar - wonderful app that gives me doppler radar in my vacinity so I know where the storm are heading
Gasbuddy
Places (with an added search for "Truck Stop" )
Yelp
Alarm Clock Pro (one of the best alarm clocks I've seen)
c:geo for geocaching
Skype - so I can videochat with friends
I've got many more, but these are on my "A-list" of Android apps!
