I just came across country from Ca to FL - solo. I had no problem with weather until this recent severe weather storm came across country. I was hit by large hail in Kerrville TX and then had to follow this storm across country.
I used an app called RadarNow!. It is amazing as it is like having a weather radar in your vehicle.
Free trial and then $2.99 per year but i think it is well worth the price!
