What Satellite service best for my application?

I need satellite service at home and in my RV. I am living in a rural area. My Motorhome has a King-Dome 9762 in-motion satellite system as delivered by Winnebago and has never had a receiver from Direct or Dish. I am not a full-timer and can move a receiver from house to RV when needed. I like HD and can usually get network broadcasts over the air.
My King-Dome is a 9762-LP with a serial number higher than the update point. The Motorhome is a 2008 Itasca Horizon with a Sony KDL-32s2010 that receives digital/HD just fine from the Winegard MA1055G feeding a Winegard VS-0503/5312 selector box. The second TV is a new LED/HD. The 3rd set has a digital converter (no HD)
In-home we have all LCD or LED 720p or 1080p

  • Welcome. this post is in the wrong place, so I have asked the moderator to move it for you.
As to your question, it all depends on what you want/like to watch. DirecTV I guess has better sports packages. Since I have never subscribed to Dish I don't have a lot to compare it to. I have had direct like for ever and been pleased so far. If you go for Directv just be careful which receivers you get. Some can be a real pain to setup in mobile applications.
