You choose the carrier at sign up. Data throttles down to 2G speeds after the first 5GB at LTE. You might find Verizon's "
Visible" service a better deal for unlimited data. Visible does limit your speed to 5Mbps though. But at $40/mo for everything, that's still fast enough for streaming...
