Well, after reading all the comments good and bad, for my purposes at least, the HP Chromebooks are easy to use, faster than any laptop to start and be online, and would solve a lot of the problems for most casual users. They need no antivirus or malware programs because they are app driven. Updates are automatic and come along every 6 weeks. You can't install any programs on them which is why they can say no virus can infect them. And unlike what someone said about their touchpads, these are the easiest I have ever found, to use. Like them or not, they have a lot going for them and are becoming more and more popular. Before you go off on them, research their abilities. They can use traditional programs like Office online and have one of the largest inventories of free apps available. Just sayin'
