What amazes me here, some of us say we don't want to change, and it's difficult to learn 'new stuff' each time we buy a LT.
And, the 'tech response' to that is, "you can "somehow" figure out a way to make these new OS work operate like the old OS" ... but it takes a tech person to figure it out, or we have to buy 'some gadgets' to make it work like the old one.
Makes NO sense - just leave it alone, why force us to buy something new and then make it operate like the old one we like? Opppps, I just figured it out, and it didn't take a tech brain. The answer is -- ta da -- good old fashioned MONEY = transferring old money out of my new account balance into MS profit bins.
This old Monkey would just like his old programs (which he bought in good faith) to operate on the new systems. Not have to buy new programs (again) because the old PC / LT that he bought wore out.
