Tips and trick are for those that "WANT" the change - the main issue here, more than anything (and 1775 gets it) WE DON'T WANT A CHANGE. PERIOD.
Regardless of the ability, or lack of ability, WE DO NOT WANT A CHANGE. What we have works well for what we do. But we can't keep it, and are forced into the change so MS can make more profit ...
I personally believe MS could make just as much leaving well enough alone, and producing repeats as well as the new OS. LET THE CUSTOMER CHOOSE ... It would have cost just as much to buy a new PC / LT with Win7 as with W8, and MS would have had a happy customer instead of a unhappy customer - at least in this case, and probably many others.
