Hi, Longtime DirecTV user here so I may be predigest. I've used brother-in-law's Dish TV a few times. I don't see any difference in the reception but I do like the user interface for DirecTV better. Other comparisons of the 2 services on here seem to find DISH customer service people rude and stupid but my experience with DirecTV is you can find both. Just depends on who happens to take your call.
One other observation, most satellite dishes I see in RV parks are DirecTV not Dish, maybe 70% / 30% mix or more.
