which laptop should I buy
I have a galaxy tab2 with 3g/4g, and an ipad 2. The laptop I use to sync the ipad to itunes has XP, which is being abandoned by microsoft. It's 6 years old, so I don't think I want to try researching...

A good Windows 7 netbook is the ones from Lenovo which also provides excellent customer service. Asus is one of the very worst at helping its customers - check the forums.
The cheapest laptops are the ones from Apple. Windows are cheaper to buy but more expensive to operate and more difficult to keep operating.
