Wi Fi Booster

I am curious what every body does to Boost your Wi Fi Signal in RV Parks. I need a system for a Mac Computer.

THere are systems out there like Wi-Fi Ranger.. I built my own but it's basically the same thing.

I have an Umbiquity Nano Station Locl M 2 "Strapped" to the top of a flag pole (it comes with ZIp ties but I sued a hose clamp so I can remove it if I want to use the flag pole as a flag pole)

Cat-5 cable to a Router inside the RV. Works well in MOST (not all) parks

I used to use a Linksys WGA-54G Wireless game adapter.. IT works in a few places the Nano-Station does not work

THe Wi-Fi Ranger should work in both .. It does take some learning as I have 3 different configurations depending on the park

Here the park uses an older encryption the NANO won't work with (WEP or WPA one is newer one is older the Nano I have only does newer Linksys does both but not as well)

Some I need to set it up in "Transparant" mode. others I do not.

    But it is impressive.

NOTE: the Nano Loco M-2 is the most "modest" outdoor module Umbiquiti makes.. It has a max range under ideal conditions of something like 4 miles..... They make more impressive (40 mile) adapters.

I need to re-build the LInksyas directional system (I modified it to be directional) and then I can use it here instead of my phone.
