WiFi antenn plus booster

We occasionally stay in campgrounds that have wifi but inside my rv that signal is very weak. If I get a roof mounted wi-fi antenna then feed the cable into my rv could I plug that into a booster to get a stronger signal signal to my lap top......If so what do I need to know to do this?

    I never stream, I am just trying to pick up a weak signal.....
