- Best bet might be a battery powered wifi repeater placed near a strong signal area.
- As has been discussed here many times, it's often not the signal, it's the internet backbone that's the problem.
- We both have used Bear Extenders for several years with pretty good results. Good performance for reasonable cost. Won't work for the Kindle as it has a USB connection.
Yesterday the DW won a WiFi Ranger Mobile as a door prize at Escapade. Installed it today and it works way better with the slow fairground signal. It provides a strong WiFi in the rig so it would work with the Kindle. Of course it is considerably pricier as well. - I got a $69special at walmart and it works great. has two "antennas".
