Wifi extender using a satellite dish?
Hello I'm looking for a budget way to get a wifi signal from the house down to a trailer about 100 yards away. I'm seeing direction wifi extenders, but they all seem to be hardwired to the router....

Two suggestions. First Umbiquiti they make the product you describe.
But if you want to "DIY" there is a 2 step process done by George Thomas and friends over at Amateurlogic.TV In Episode 3 they open with a toast. Unfermented wine (Welch's Grape Juice) then go about making a "Cantenna" out of the empty juice can.
In a much later episode they paired that with a discarded Sat Dish.. WOW. Great improvement.. Alas I can't tell you the 2nd episode.
