Wifi Extender

has anyone found a wifi extender booster that they use from RV park to RV park? I bought a net gear that worked good until I moved into another Park.Seams that once it was setup it wont setup again.

  • Take a look at the WiFi extender put together by David Bott on his website https://outsideourbubble.com/ It's cheap and easy to setup. It works very well and will get you all the signal and bandwidth available. None will make crappy campground WiFi good.
  • Why do you need a wifi exteneder? Just get a good USB wifi adapter with decent antennas. Nothing to set. Just plug it in and select it instead of the internal adapter. Go for around $30.
  • sure you can reset it

you want it setup as a 'repeater' . not a bridge or router

you want it to amplify the signal each way in and out

yso when you move to another campground aka wifi access point

you enter the new passwordd on your pc not into the netgear repeater

login to the netgear and to a factory reset

then set it up as a repeater/extender not a router-bridge

I think i said all that correctly
  • Seams that it's usually not a signal problem, it's a bandwidth problem.
  • I have a BEAREXTENDER and it works great. My camper is in NC and I am in MA now so I don't know the model.
