I will talk about the fairly inexpensive Nano-Station now the connector on that is LAN not USB so if your computer has a LAN port,, go for it I will describe the advantage in a second
if the comptuer has only USB ports get a USB to Ethernet (LAN) adapter at some place like best buy.
Maximum length of a USB cable is,< I think 30 feet
Maximum on a LAN cable is like 200 or 300 hundred feet

Wa8yxm, wouldn't that only work of I drill a hole or something for the cable? I'm really hoping on something I could keep inside. And other than length of cord, is there another advantage for the nano.
