Another advantage of using a router/repeater is that you can place your own devices on a separate sub-network, so not part of the general park network. Provides some extra security, so your neighbors can't possibly snoop around in your networked devices.
Plus, I doubt the CG WiFi is very fast anyway? So you're not likely to experience much of a drop in your internet speed, if any, due to using a repeater.
