If you are an AT&T subscriber and a DirecTV subscriber you can use use the DirecTV app with an MHL/HDMI converter on your smart phone such as the Galaxy S5 to stream any of the channels in your DirecTV plan. This does not use any data on your phone plan. Trees are no problem.;)
