WiFi when cable other availabldE.

This spring and summer we will be staying at a park that does not have cable nor wifi. We stream alot of movies and other programs using Roku. What would be a good way to access the Internet? Unlimited cell phone packages are very expensive for the amount of data I think we'll be using. Any suggestions?

you WILL use LOTS of data

    you needed unlimited data

Binge On plans are good for the cell phone, but then you have to send that video to the TV via cable, chrome cast, or maybe roku

binge on is for video on the phone

    not for hot spoting

binge on or unlimited, depending on your tech ability for connecting the tv

IF you stream lots of video, you use lots of data

i use about 30 gig a month , sometimes more
a 2hr HD movie can easily use 2gb
lo-res 320 youtube, is pretty light use and 6gb can go quite aways
netflix amazon etc.. you need lots of data

the basic ways to access the net are limited to: cellular, wifi, satellite, cable and DSL (phone company landline). T-Mobile has some sort of unlimited data plan going on now. if the park offers landline hookups at their sites you could look into a DSL connection. what about a DISH pay-as-you-go account coupled with a portable dish antenna for your movies?

T-Mobil had a plan that was supposed to end on 1/22/17. I have heard that you can still get it if you call or maybe go to an office. You have to ask for a Simple Choice North America with 6gb or more of data. This gives you a service called "binge on". With binge on you can stream over 100 video services including roku and netflix without using your 6gb of data. We used it all last summer and it works well. As I said you may have to go to an office or call. Try both before you give up and ask for the program by name. Good luck
