Will the "Cube" pick up Direct TV HD?

If your floating home moves even slightly from side to side, you will lose your HD. If you can put the antenna on a non-moving dock or shoreline you should be fine. Otherwise, I don't think even the Trav'ler would keep you happy. The Trav'ler does not track the satellites once it locks on like an in-motion dome would. That means once it's locked, if there is any movement at all your signal strength will likely drop substantially requiring you to start a new search again and again.

With handle like Bill Winegard, I assume you work for the company. Is there anything on the horizon that might work for us? I like the idea of Direct TV as you can record 5 different shows at the same time. I guess we could give up on the idea of having HD.
