I have a 5 GB cap on my Verizon connection and two computers using it through a wired router. There is no way I'll be updating to Windows 10. I would not be able to turn off automatic updates as far I know.
I have not seen anything in Windows 10 that can justify the 6 to 8 GB download I would need to do to update both machines.
When Windows 7 reaches it's EOL in 2020 and if M$ has not changed it's no new operating systems after Windows 10 I'll look to something else other then Windows.
