I see in this article and other reports on Windows 10, you can set a WiFi connection as a "Metered Connection" so that it won't download updates when on that connection.
Our situation is a little different. When camping, we don't connect to our phone via WiFi. We tether our laptop to our Android smartphone using a USB cable and a tethering app. So my question is, would Win 10 allow me to mark that connection as "Metered"? Or not, since it is a hard-wire connection?
I'm thinking someone here will know the answer to this question. Thanks in advance!
