I tether my laptop to my smartphone via USB for internet access. Because I am tethered by USB and not Wifi, it will NOT allow me to set that connection as a metered connection. That is the main reason why I'm sticking with 8.1 on my laptop.
that's a darn good endorsement for 8.1
the charms bar popout from the right edge can be a bit annoying if you are not paying attention w/ mouse movements, but it really is a minor thing, overall
in another thread, W10 gives BSOD at 2:21 every day -- that is not good.
