I discovered that I am unable to play DVDs on my new HP/Win10 laptop. (insurance replacement for laptop that was taken in a burglary)Can anyone recommend a program that will allow me to do this? Is BlueRay capability a software issue, and will it work on my laptop?Thanks,Robert

Managed to download VLC, and so far so good on the first dvd I tried.

Dvd and CD drive is common, Blu-Ray in a pc is an option
A single layer dvd is 4+ gig
A single layer br is 25 gig
Software will not make a DVD drive read a br disc
Stand alone br players can also play DVDs
