My laptop did this same update yesterday, and all is well. It even fixed a couple of minor issued I've had with Win 10 since upgrading from Win 8. That said, Win 10's constant desire to download updates is a major PITA when you have a slow connection like mine. For those who want to put a stop to that, open the run box, type "services.msc." no quotes and hit enter. Scroll down to the Windows Update service, double click, and in the box that pops up set the startup type to "disabled".
