- Dream_Chaser_ExplorerDone it on several machines. A few changes that are annoying at first but you get used to. Seems to run a bit faster.
- thomasmnileExplorerI did on a desktop last month. Jury still out for me. Wasn't really enamored with 10, don't want my computer desktop looking like a cell phone screen. 11 continues with that and I've experienced several "freeze" episodes since 11 was installed. Also massive bloatware. Good thing the computer has a 1 TB hard drive.
- agesilausExplorer IIII got that on my system yesterday, looking at the changes list MS shows is rather strange. The entire list is of features deleted from 10 not a list great new features. I'm used to 10 so why upgrade, which is always a risky business.
Are they charging for this upgrade? - Not sure I want to do it to my 10 YO laptop....
It might not have the resources to handle Win 11
And I detest the bloatware. Takes so much time and effort to try to get rid of it. Many times you can't. And then they restore it after every update. - agesilausExplorer IIII see a comment on Reddit that win 11 shuts down Firefox. That's a problem for me.

Past problems appear to be related to printing issues and 3rd party app failures.
IMO, Windows 10 works great for my needs and I see no reason to become an early innovator and be part of Team MS Guinea Pig. When the dust settles and MS knows what we don't know...then I'll join Team Windows 11, but today, Windows 10 is my OS.

That would end it for me right there. I didn't know that.
I have used FireFox for many years and have no intention of using MS Exploder.
I have an ancient Samsung laser printer that just keeps going year after year. It took some trickery with Win 10, but I managed to get a driver for it working. I don't want to lose that. In Win 10 I lost my Canon laser all in one. I just could not get it to function with Win 10. Very annoying...- drsteveExplorer

MS will tell you if your laptop has the hardware to run 11.
