Glad someone brought this up, thermal issue is my suspicion also. Before taking the back off, check to see if any of the air vents are plugged with dirt or lint. Be careful with the compressed air, if you blow it directly into the fan blade, it's possible to overspin the fan and mess up whatever bearing surfaces it has.
