I was also thinking of overheating, maybe because of "stuff" building up on the air vent/fan but is does seem to be a memory issue.
As mentioned earlier, try uninstalling Dell System Detect. That seems to be the memory hog. This article may help a little: http://www.dell.com/support/Article/us/en/19/576402/EN
