Not Tech savvy but when my XP laptop went upsidedown I went looking and "test drove " the 8 at a few places
What a disaster, looked around and found a new old stock Window 7 Home Premium laptop and could not be happier.... And it was cheaper too.
Just my opinion, but it works for me.
