Winegard Automatic
Hi everyone, How do you like the carryout Winegard automatic?? I'm looking at getting a used one on Ebay... Clicky I plan on just using a standard HD DirecTV receiver...should that work?

For Directv, the Winegard Automatic (according to their website) can only access standard def channels although you should be able to still use a HD sat receiver. We ended up using a Directv HD Slimline 5 dish (mounted on a homemade stand) as DW won't camp without all the same channels we get at home. Takes 5-10 minutes to set-up even when camping among trees as it's simple to move where I can shoot between the gaps.
