Op. Yes worked from roof house antenna. When I get down to system info, how do you reset dish type as suggested by bill above. FRUSTRATING! Know it can be changed somehow?

Did you try running setup from the reciever buttons? Enter settings then setup
Does the dish make any noise? It should search for satelite without any receiver attached.

Yes. Just can’t get to the area to change the antenna type.

Have you tried pushing the reset button inside the door with the card? Try re-inserting the card.

You have to change the switch type from swm to multi-switch before you can select 18" round antenna at least I do with mine. I think if you hit exit/ menu that should bring up the page wear you can select repeat satellite setup. Then select multi-switch and then 18" round. hope this helps.

Another way to reset the receiver is to unplug the power cord from the receiver for fifteen to 20 seconds

Setup, repeat satellite setup (or similar) and go through the entire routine. You must get it off SWM and set to multi-switch. Try getting that far with the antenna powered off and when you get that set turn on the antenna and it might lock onto 101 if you can get it to multiswitch and 18" round before turning on the antenna, that would be better. Are you still using the D12 receiver?

Yes on the d12. When I can manage to get down to where you choose an antenna, I see about 17 different types. When I scroll, I see 18” round BUT when I try to highlight it it will jump right over it and go to the next one. It seems to be numbered 01, but can’t get the curser to sit on it?

change to Multi switch first

Without multi-switch you are dead in the water.
