- Brandon327ExplorerWe are with directtv and realize a dome only receives sd. The traveler is too much money just to get hd. We had dish and we're using a tailgater but I want something I don't have to set up and take down so looking for a mounted option.

Pathway X1
The Pathway X1 will work with Dish only and only with a Dish 211/411 receiver. This may or may not be appropriate for all users. If you want something that works like the current Carryout, I would wait for the Carryout G2 (mini-Carryout) coming March/April time frame. - GulfcoastExplorerDepending on the receiver that you have.... if you can hang on just a few weeks, Winegard is coming out with a new Pathway X1 dome that you can use portable, and then mount it on your rig later with three little brackets.
Pathway X1 - docjExplorerI assume you realize that no dome system can receive DirecTV HD. Also, a dome system can only receive signals from one satellite at a time so if you ever wish to have a DVR it will only be able to record a program while you watch another if both programs happen to be on channels broadcast from the same satellite. This could be a serious problem with Dish, although for DirecTV SD programming on the 101 satellite this would not be an issue. I'm not trying to talk you out of buying what you want, but I have discovered that lots of people don't realize the implications of what they think they want to buy.
- IvylogExplorer IIII've had nothing but problems with Kingdom and their in motion dish. It quite working in 30 days and they would not honor their warranty because the unit had been built three years before I bought it at CW. CW stepped up and paid for the part that I installed. It's never worked all that well and recently it locks on the wrong Sat and will not continue searching. Called Kingdom and after an hour of trouble shooting, I can probably fix it for $450 in parts. Guess he did not like it when I said I could buy a new one that everyone likes for less than $450. Why would I spend more $$$ on their POS.
- GulfcoastExplorerWinegard Company products are designed & manufactured in the U.S.A... I like Winegard, it just works.
