From what you describe, it's actually quite possible that your installer did bend something. The dish itself is not attached while in the box and if it gets dropped, bent, kicked stepped on (tweaked in any way) it cannot be repaired and needs to be replaced. Without trying a new dish I can't say that this is the actual problem, but it certainly is a possibility.
I would continue to work with the Winegard tech support folks and you will likely have to get to a repair facility that can check it out further. I have the exact same antenna and I see close to 100 on the 101 transponders and 95+ on all of the 99 and 103 working transponders. I run a Genie and an H25 and life is pretty good.
Can you tell me if your PI is black or Gray?
