I have been kind of waiting for Winegard to come up with an SL3 model. If everything is working well for you it may be time to pull the trigger.
No, you do not need to disconnect your receiver(s) from the Winegard SWM Trav'ler. The electronics lock out the receiver during the search routine and restore a connection once the search is completed.
