I agree with SCVJeff; after you install it report back with your concerns. Having installed two units, one by myself, you will find that just getting the base unit onto the roof is by far the hardest part of the install. It would take a pretty desperate thief to climb on the roof, unscrew the base and then figure some way to get it to the ground. After all of that all he would have is a fancy antenna which is no good without the control box. The Trav'ler is the last thing I worry about being stolen.
