I just removed a big ole KVH dome and installed a smaller Winegard Dome.
To do the roof top lifting thing, I used a small Tarp with grommet holes around the edges.
I set the unit in the center of the tarp, laced a small rope through each side of the tarp, and then used the two loose ends of rope to snug the tarp around the unit and reach me at the top of the coach.
My rear roof ladder provided a good path to raise the package to the roof and avoid banging against the coach paint or catching on awnings.
I suspect the Travel'r is heavier, but the above process might provide the leverage one needs to do it without help.
