Bill.Satellite.... I read the instructions several times, and what threw me off was the top of page 3, under the heading of: Checking Power Supply. The next line then states: "Power supply not supplied with RS-3460." I took that to mean that no power was required. It think it could have been explained better. It should have explained that on model RS-3460, 12 VDC power comes in from the video control center, instead of the wall plate, like it does in model RS-2000. The bottom line is that I have resolved the issue. I confirmed that the video control center does have 12 VDC going to it. When you press the "ANT" button, it sends 12 VDC to the amplifier in the antenna via the coax cable. I also re-checked all coax cables for continuity. I now have 12 off-the air channels, even under a metal canopy, and even though I am 70 miles away from Los Angeles. The picture is excellent, so even though it may be a cheap Winegard Roadstar antenna, it does a great job. I may get more channels under better conditions. All is good now. thx.
