Winegard tv antenna

I have a Winegard Roadstart tv antenna (model RD-2000) on my 2008 Tioga. The tv has never received any over the air channels, even in the city. It is fixed and does not rotate. I believe one of the reasons for not working is that the wall power receptacle does not have an on and off switch 12 volt supply for the antenna. I have looked at some of the Winegard power supply receptacles on EBay, and almost all of them have this switch. Mine only has the cigarette type receptacle to power the tv and a tv coax cable jack. Can someone please tell me if I am on the right track?

    ok... im having a similar problem.
    But mine did used to receive signals but now does not.
    I found another wall panel connector/plate that did have the switch.
    So I have two. one in the bedroom that has no switch and one inside
    of a cabinet in the livingroom that does. So look around.

    I think my amplifier broke as I had mine constantly on without
    realizing it.
