With the H24 you will need to go into the satellite setup, settings and help, select satellite, repeat sat set up, press dash, set the dish to 18" and the multi-switch setting. Also set to single receiver. Select set up remote later. Do this before connecting to the dish. Once done, connect the dish and let it lock on the satellite and go through the boot up process. The receiver will do the rest. Make sure you don't have the guide set to hide duplicate channels. I won't show SD channel. If your dish locks on, you should not need to do anything else. Make sure the coax is connected to the Sat in 1. When you go back to the house you will need to undo all these settings. It only takes a couple of minutes. Chuck
