I spend winters in south Florida out in the boondocks and am usually quite some distance from the TV transmitter sites. I have the Wingman attachment which makes the antenna more directional, so a few degrees makes a big difference.

I think you came up with a great and inovative idea, I think some of the others may have a differnt idea and maybe even better in some ways. I just like how you think.

I have the same antenna and have the Wingman but have never installed it. I will install it an check signal levels vs pointing angle.
