Does my III have an amplifier built in? If so, where does it get power? I will get the UHF add-on to make it a IV.

Billsattelite, I want to eliminate the wall plate with the tiny button.
I disconnected and color coded all the Coax and ran a continuity test. I discovered that I actually have two coax going to the bedroom. One via a split-er from the Cable outside and one from the Wall plate Thingamobob. I want to re-do all that and put in A/B switches so I can have Cable, Dish, and/or Batwing to either or both TV's depending on my situation and needs. I removed the transfer stuff from my 5th wheel when I sold it and kept the switch panel that I made.
Having said all that do I still need the wall plate Thingamabob to power the Batwing or can I purchase another amplifier if needed?
