I've had the Verizon Home Phone Connect for a couple years and am happy with it. It is cellular, so its completely dependent on your specific location for service quality. I got it because I have 3 stix & bricks in 3 diff states and it allows me to take it with me from house to house, keep the same number and use existing inside phone wiring outlets & extensions.
Be aware it does have some limitations as a landline replacement. it wont work with some home alarm sys, or medic alert sys, or as a fax machine line, etc..
I'm often asked why I need it, if I have a cell phone already. Well its more personal preference.
