I bought a Rear View Safety wireless camera guaranteed to work to 70 feet. Don't believe it. Installed it just before a 3800 mile trip and was really looking forward to being able to see behind our new, much longer, travel trailer. Worked fine sitting in the driveway. Did not work on the road. An image would pop up every 5-60 seconds, but even then it wasn't a decent pic.
Then the antenna fell off the monitor, the first day of the trip. Rear View Safety did ship a new antenna with extension cable, but of course that was well after the vacation.
I have since used the new antenna plus a much longer extension cable I purchased on E-Bay to move the camera antenna to the very front of the travel trailer. I have it pointing almost directly at the monitor in the cab.
Haven't had a chance to test it on the road, but do have a short trip planned for this weekend. I'll let you know how this setup works out.
