Wordpress Website?

How long (hours or days) would it take for a tech savvy person to take down a personal WordPress web page (not very complex), remove an old theme, Change to a new theme, and get it ready to install content?
(Some text and nature photos, each on a few separate pages)

It's mostly the same content, already on the page, but will be now in a new WP theme that allows it to show both on a full website, and convert to readability on a phone size screen. I understand there is a program that gets installed on the page that automatically sizes content to screen size thata opens it ...

I know, you need to look at it to predict, but I'm just looking for the amount of time it takes roughly. Days?? Weeks ??

    That sounds like a straight forward blog format. There will be some admin work to make sure pictures fit and links are properly set up.
    I assume that you're looking for a "responsive" theme that will play well on cell phones, tablets, etc.
    It might be a few hours of work. Not likely more than that. . .

    It's only some sharing of wildlife protection information and some photos - No interaction, no sales, no fundraising - just stuff to read and some visuals.

    As I recall, it's very simple if you're using WP as a blog.
    From within the admin panel you upload and install the new theme and then simply activate it.

    If you're using WP as a Content Management System (CMS) such as a classified ads program then all bets are off.
    The more customizations the greater the difficulty would be.

    If it is currently a Wordpress theme that is not mobile aware or responsive it must be a pretty old theme. As long as you do not have a ton of pages and plugins it shouldn't take a competent Wordpress person more than a day to a week depending on how much time they devote to it.

    You may be able to install the theme and make it active just to see how it looks as is and make changes as necessary.

    Wordpress is really modular and they have wizards for most of the functions you describe. Less than a day (less than 8 hrs) for a tech savvy person. This assumes you don't need the theme extensively customized.

    A lot depends on the number of pages but it sholdn't take more than a day. Actually probably only a few hours if you have some way to publish the content rather than copy and paste. Using something like microsfot publish you can push all the content out quickly.
